Dr. David Du, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Du is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, California Society of Periodontists, and American Academy of Periodontology, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
He completed his periodontal residency and obtained his M.S. in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences at the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry (UCSF) where he also obtained his D.D.S. in 2012. His treatment philosophy is providing outstanding and compassionate patient care. He values the relationships that he forms with his patients and goes above and beyond to make sure that patients understand their treatment plan and that they feel comfortable with the procedures that he provides.
Not only is he skilled in classical periodontal therapy, Dr. Du is trained in the latest surgical techniques and using biologicals such as Emdogain, GEM 21, rhBMP-2, Alloderm, and platelet rich fibrin. His knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment planning allows him the ability to work with and communicate well with other dentist and specialist to tackle the most difficult restorative cases and to achieve the same goal of patient centered outcomes. Dr. Du is also experienced in dental implant-related surgeries including external and internal sinus lifts, implant site development, implant placement, CBCT guided surgery and guided bone regeneration.
Dr. Du is originally from the San Diego and Los Angeles area. While at UCLA obtaining his undergraduate degree, he met his wife, and they have 2 children. Dr. Du is an avid reader of fiction novels, enjoys cooking, and many outdoor activities such as fishing, road biking, basketball and hiking.
Dr. David Zhang, D.D.S., M.S.
Born in Michigan and having lived in six different states, Dr. Zhang earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences and Asian Language and Studies – Chinese from the University of the Pacific. Continuing at the University of the Pacific, he then received his D.D.S. from the Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. After working as a general dentist, Dr. Zhang returned to school for a residency in periodontics and obtained his certificate in periodontics and M.S. in Biomedical Implants and Tissue Engineering from the University of Southern California.
In his free time, where there is not as much as he would hope for, he enjoys cycling and swimming and exploring current technologies while dabbling in arts and crafts.
